Went to cut hair yesterday at this Japanese Salon called Komachi Hair Cult.
It's located at Liang Court, level 2.

And i'm telling you guys, I had the best hair service ever!
The moment I step into the salon at the reception area, walk inside to my seat, and till I complete the whole service, I was greeted with the greatest smile. I guess that's the Japanese culture. They are all very friendly.

My stylist is Tsuji Yoshiko. She's a creative director at Komachi. She's really very friendly and very sweet. She's very professional. I didn't know what style and colour I want, and she recommended me something nice. The only problem is with language barrier. Her English is not good. I kind of had a hard time communicating with her, but lucky I know some Japanese words, so still not that bad. Tsuji san is also very chatty. Despite her bad English, she still keep trying her best to chat with me. That is something that i didn't get in other salons. Normally didn't talk much when cutting at other salons.

Tsuji san's assistant, Kenji, is also very friendly and also keep chatting with me. He helped Tsuji san apply hair dye to my hair. The colour she choose for me is ash brown. And something nice about Komachi is the hair wash! The shampoo they use smells damn damn good! And the hair wash also quite long, and the massage is nice too. Lucky Kenji is very chatty too, and chat with me thru out the whole hair wash. If not it would be kind of weird. HAHA!

Here are some photos of the resulting hair service.

The style is very nice and jappy. But wondering if I can style back the same thing, cos I suck at styling my hair.

Anyway, I'm really very very satisfied with my haircut. Total damage is $170 ($70 for hair cut and $100 for colour). There's a 10% discount for 1st timer, so in total, I paid $153. You must be thinking that I am crazy to cut so damn expensive! But I can tell u that its totally worth it man! The service is excellent! I am so so sticking to Komachi for my future haircuts.

By the way, if any of you interested in trying Komachi, you have to book either online, or call them to book an appointment. Don't think they accept walk in customers, cos normally their schedule all very packed. Their website is www.komachihair.com. You can also call them up at 63399432 or 68363391. They are located at Liang Court, #02-07. If any of you want to go there, pls inform me, cos if intro a friend, they will give me an additional stamp on the member card. Regarding the card, each visit will earn you a stamp. Collect 6 stamps and on the 7th visit, you will be able to get a free haircut. Complete the card (15 stamps) and get a free colouring or perm service. In addition, you will also become a platinum member, and get 20% discount on all hair services. Intro a friend and get an additional stamp. I am so going back there everytime for my haircut! Can't wait to become a platinum member... haha!!!
